SyVox Logistics is a very flexible and easy-to-use solution. It relies on work flow configuration instead of custom programming to quickly implement your business process using standard features. There are over 500,000 permutations of the system flow to choose from when configuring the system, which means that the configurable work flows can be matched to almost any picking process. And if your business process changes in the future, the system can be simply reconfigured to handle the new process.
The system divides a work flow or task into the following four operations:

Support of multiple languages, simultaneously.
Location persistence to eliminate the repeat of location information until changed (i.e. the system can be configured to speak the aisle number only when prompting for an item in a new aisle). Dynamic text to speech allowing the construction of speech prompts built with items in the database or pick task using the 'Prompt Manager'. A trained end-user utilizes a GUI interface to select workflow options that meet the requirements of your business process. No programming is required to take advantage of standard workflow options.

SyVox Logistics allows workers to hear instructions through a headset connected to a belt mounted Windows CE/Windows Mobile computer. Workers are able to communicate verbally with the Logistics package via the SyVox Speech Client over a wireless network.
The SyVox Logistics Software resides on a Windows Server. and provides the following services:
Work Flow Management, the logic which determines how work is parceled out to individual workers, prompts the worker through a work task, and handles exceptions.
SyVox Voice XML interface, the interface by which SyVox software communicates with the enterprise system (WMS/ERP).
The Administration Console which provides real-time and summary productivity reports to warehouse management personnel and allows the priority, release date/time, and or status (released, held, etc.) of a pick assignment to be changed locally.
SyVox Application Modules provide the industry specific speech recognition applications. The applications contain configurable business rules for handling a variety of operational scenarios. Applications for Picking and Cycle Count are available today.
